Compact Disc Player
Success in the portable audio consumer products market requires high performance but low cost and low weight. The audio performance of a typical CD player depends on its ability to maintain a constant rotational speed of the disc with high precision. Consumer acceptance improves when the time between pressing the "play" button and hearing the CD is minimized.
What information do you need to determine the best size for a CD drive motor?
Define precisely (i.e., with units) how you would quantify "motor size" in this context.
