I think it's great that you've written psuedo code and thought about what systems you would use to make the electronics work! It really helps in mapping out the user interactions and experiences. Have you looked into what sensors you would use and the ranges/sensitivities of them?

This walkthrough and especially the pseudocode is really helpful in clarifying the three interactive components and how they communicate with each other. It might be helpful to walk through a few failure modes. The first one that comes to mind is what happens if the players are not able to touch all three hieroglyphs on the wall because they forgot which ones were lit up on the sarcophagus? If the players return to hit the three scarabs again are another set of random hieroglyphs displayed or are the same ones as before lit up until they succeed in the wall challenge?

Is there any sort of feedback if they touch the wrong button? I think the presented code is good.

How will the sarcophagus be powered? I think it will have to be hard wired to the rest of the room. In that case, is BLE still the best option?
