The description of how this would be manufactured and assembled is pretty clear from the included images. You may want to investigate ball return paths if the "waves" are masking parts of the floor.

The tentacle target looks easily assemble-able but I wonder if the target is large enough?

Would you want your final product to be made of foam ? Are you planning on painting the foam if so ? Perhaps a more refined material might work bette, as getting the highlight on the foam would be difficult.

The faceplate look like a good way to keep everything together + hide all the parts, also good job thinking about a way to hide all of the parts.

I think tat the functionality of the tentacle and the wave are very good. It looks like you thought ahead about how they would be made in the 2.5D kind of realm. It looks good to me how the force sensor will be activated and I like that it is easy to access this and replace if need be.

I really like the aesthetic of the tentacles and way you chose to color things. I like that you chose a simple color scheme and that the target is red which is pretty easily recognizable. I also like the color and shapes of the waves and think its really important to add these in and feel they help tie the theme together. I also like the shape of the tentacle and can imagine it coming to grab me.
