The static LED displays are a new concept in the development of this project, and I'm concerned that they haven't been fully thought out. If the pasted-on displays are meant to provide clues to the player, the solution you've chosen means that they can't be dynamically swapped. The solution to the puzzle will be the same every time - not ideal!

You have three lock sizes represented. From the original concept, I was under the impression that each lock would have a unique configuration. Between your representation and the mention of the LED displays providing clues, I'm confused about what the actual implementation is going to be.

Well designed part, with good comments giving specific details, though more information on the material/manufacturability would have been helpful. I'm assuming this will be made of plastic (to facilitate RFID transmission) - would it just be 3d printed?

Also, I'm not a fan of the non-functional keypads. I feel like they should do something, even if it doesn't actually affect the outcome of the room.

The keyhole could also look more realistic.

What fabrication method were you thinking of creating this? I would suggest either 3d printing it and then decorating it to look like metal or CNC a block of metal.

The aesthetics are fine, although I question the choice to glue static graphics on to the cases. It bothers me that the keypad and display are window-dressing only, but I understand the choice. Consider that if you need to cut costs, you could easily eliminate those graphics and make the locks a more central element on the case.

In your presentation of these drawings, it may be more useful to the reader to show one or two isometric or exploded views. Putting all of the orthogonal views in context is easy in this case, where the subject is just a box, but quickly gets tricky if the shape of the model is complicated.

Form looks good, but the finish will be really important for both durability (scratching, impact), as well as immersion, especially if it will be made of plastic.

Fantastic work with the CAD modeling! I really like how detailed this part of the gag is, and I can see how it can come to life. The human use factor seems promising, have you done tests to see what the ideal size of the keyholes are? The aesthetics are nice.
