The illustrations here make the intended look and feel of this space very clear. Looks like a really fun space to play a game in. Good work.

I thought it was a good idea to have a simple design for the room in order to direct attention to the crane. I think it would be cool if the room looked like there was some sort of explosion, or maybe leaks of nuclear material. You mentioned you were going to use paint to make it look like an aging and decrepit plant. In addition to that, I think actually incorporating some "cracked" walls or a "damaged" controls station would help the user feel like the plant is falling apart, creating a feel of danger.

I particularly like the attention to color to guide players to the correct items in the room. The muted green walls in contrast with the bright yellow crane and glowing sticks will grab the attention of people entering the room. To get more of the cluttered feeling of the control room example you showed you could paint or use a sticker on the unused walls with panels and covered in buttons so its pretty obvious you cant push or interact with them in any way but will give the same visual effect.

Great attention to detail in terms of basing the colors of the room on real-life nuclear reactors, but also the fact that the crane's colors contrast with the rest of the room to bring attention to it/the main game.

Overall, the rendering and drawings are excellent and really give me a good idea of what the room will look like. Great job!
