The detents are much better from the bottom. We have also found success using magnets as detents, this way there are no moving parts. As for the switches, what if you went from 4 way to 2 way? Does that make your game halve as good or is it worth the simplification? You could also change the switching to a magnet switch so there are is no physical contact required.

The two spring mechanisms of the jar are an elegant way to constrain motion and detect the position, respectively. This minimization of mechanical components also aids in assembly.

Good design for manufacture consideration to move the spring-balls to the bottom rather than internally.

The other suggestion I would have is to implement some means in order to constrain the motion along the axis of the central pole to prevent players from lifting up the jars and perhaps damaging the springs. I also don't quite understand exactly how the spring loaded ball is completing the switch mechanism. Where are the contacts located, on the base or on the ball itself?

I like how both the aesthetic detailing and mechanical design were both included. The spring and peg method seems to be a good choice to index the jars at specific locations. I think handles could be put on some of them if they are rigidly attached.

You could remove the detents and using the light as an indicator to guests that the jar is in the "correct" place.

The rendering technique is extremely well done and leaves little room for improvement. The glossy texture of the first few pictures, the cross sectional views, and the final view placing the jars in the room all contribute to giving a very clear picture of how the jar will be integrated into the game. The two GIFs (of the rotation and lighting effects) are also very helpful and very professionally done.

Good analysis of the human use factors for the selection of the jar, as well.

The renderings all look very professional and convey the feeling of the jars very well. I really like the gif addition to show how the jar will move in look in actual use. The full rendering at the bottom with all the jars seemed to go above and beyond.
