I think the design for the Radioactive Barrels makes a lot of sense. The exploded view helps a lot in understanding how it works.

You say that the barrels are made of steel, but I have more questions about how this steel will be made. Depending on the size of the barrels, this could be a lot of steel. Are they hollow? How are you planning on building the barrel?

The barrels give me a sense of how the room will actually look. The barrels getting lit up by LEDs makes sense.

Are there any nuts to go with the bolts? I don't see them in the exploded view but maybe the through holes in the yellow barrel are threaded. How are you going to create the cutouts in the plywood? With a router? I like how this design is simple and straight forward.

What would the padding be made out of, is it foam? Also just side note but what if people drop something into the hole where the LEDs are? Also, what is the barrel made out of ? Using a vinyl sticker for the barrel would help it look 'realistic'. Okay also, in the storyboard, the barrel turns green one time but in your CAD it looks like green LEDs are lighting up around the barrel which isn't very obvious.

It would be very helpful if there were some sort of dimensions on the renderings so that I could get a better understanding of the scale of the assembly.

The barrels look really nice. The form of the foam around the barrel also was a nice touch to add (looks almost like the barrel is floating in water.

I really like the look of this assembly! You made good use of the yellow color, and even I could tell that the board was made out of wood.
