I still think this is a clever idea and am happy you are pursuing this. A few comments on design:

- These building pieces are probably going to fall pretty often. Will they be made robust enough to handle the corner crunching? They also can't be too tough so they hurt could hurt the players.

- Have you prototyped the electrical contacters? I think the internal wires idea is clever but perhaps tricky to fish through. Also if the faces aren't aligned just so, they may lose contact. Might be worth a mock up before going all in.

What will the walls look like in order to give the feeling of scale? Perhaps some smaller buildings or mountains in the distance? Giving more thought to this aspect will create more realism for the gag. I think the thoughts around building aesthetic are good and will serve as hints for players to match up the right pieces.

Since the storyboard is meant to give a general idea of the interaction and not meant as a high fidelity look-alike, Yakov's storyboard was just fine. The colored lights and bridges help draw attention to those features.
