The electrical implementation of the scoreboard looks good and shouldn't be too difficult to implement. The only question/ concern is what would the surface of the board be made of? I can image people hitting the scoreboard with the balls by accident (or not), and you'd want to ensure that the scoreboard is sturdy enough and the components won't be damaged.

How the scoreboard will function makes sense, well thought out. The size of the scoreboard in the rendering is quite large, will you be able to source LED lights to that scale?

Great job rendering the room and scoreboard concept. I think you'd need more than a single neopixel strip if you wanted something to the size you showed in the room drawing. However, it's probably enough for a smaller scale room implementation.
