Quality and thoroughness of human-use analysis and improvement suggestions

I like that you visited a place in order to the the human analysis review. Talking about your experience in a space designed by others was interesting. I think you could have walked us through more of the expense, from getting tickets to entering the front entrance of the museum. I know getting video/pictures must have been hard, but an image of each exhibit would have been nice. I think it also would have been cool to compare this museum experience to something you would find at the MFA or in older art museums. This contrast would have done a good job of picking out the good and bad parts of the exhibit.

This analysis gave me a good feel for the museum, and probably why I won't go their in the future :) The improvements seem to be something the museum would actually consider based on the feedback provided about the experience. The section for improvements was a little unclear about how the graphic tied in to what the write up was describing, until I got to the end and read the light-up portions of the museum. The text in the graphic is also really hard to read, so I wasn't sure what aspect it was linked to. Being at the top, I assumed it was part of all the bullets. Having a couple of word summary for the points you're trying to get across would be really helpful. For instance... Bullet 1 - Acoustic Improvement - In order to minimize distraction.... Bullet 2 - Physical Interaction - The art pieces can be designed...

The introduction provides the viewer with a good background on what to expect in this analysis. It clearly outlines the intentions of the designer of the exhibit, which help in the later analyses. The experience section went through the exhibit, highlighting points that the author noticed throughout their time there. It was helpful when they compared the room to a freshly furnished room, which allowed me to visualize the place better. On the other hand, it would have been nice if there were an overview of the entire exhibit, with the placement of the pieces, instead of just pictures of parts of it. The benefits and problems were thorough and explored different parts of the experience, like the set-up of the room or the different audio cues in the room. It even incorporated viewpoints from other users, which was a nice touch. The improvements highlight two aspects that were identified in the problems section, and finds innovative solutions to them. The idea with the headphones is easily accomplished, but very effective. However, in future iterations, it would be nice to explain why the author decided to focus on the two issues and come up with solutions for them.

Lol first of all I love how you mentioned they prohibit videos and you have a video of the exhibit. Anyway, I like how you decided to do an analysis of an experience/environment rather than a product, which is unique compared to what most other people did. I feel as though some of the analysis could have maybe been a little more in depth, but I think you really nailed some of the points you were trying to make. I definitely agree with your suggestions for improvements as well, and was even thinking along those lines when I was reading through the problems.

Clarity and presentation of human-use experience analysis

I think that the presentation was OK on your website. It would have been nice to see more images and explanations rather than blocks of text. Overall I think I got the point of what you wanted to improve, but it was hard to convince me that the improvements were appropriate (ie. maybe they were a special way because of the artists, then it's just part of the art), although the way you explained it the improvements sound justified. I like that your website has a nicely laid-out menu at the top and each section only talks about what the title says.

Easy to navigate website (like the museum)! The variety of photos could have been mixed up some more. I felt like the museum was only in one room, with just the ping pong exhibit, but it looked like there were more exhibits within the area that weren't shown. All the photos/video were of the same thing. I was slightly confused about how immersive the museum was. The immersion level was listed both in the benefits and the problems section. I could see how it could be both, but it was a little confusing to read in both the positive and the negative areas of the review. It's possible to describe it as immersive, yet not interactive - which could make it a much more fun experience!

This analysis has clearly defined tabs that guide the reader. The content of each section matches the title and is what is expected by the reader. On the other hand, sometimes the author contradicted himself by saying in the benefits that the exhibit was very immersive, but also pointed out that everything was off-limits, so it was not an immersive experience. I think I understood what they were trying to get at, but maybe differentiating the "immersive" aspect with "hands-on" aspects could have made the argument clearer. The presentation was good, and the website had a good UI except for the strange symbols next to some words. The symbols distracted the reader, and in the example of the benefits section, I didn't quite understand what the sentence was supposed to say. Lastly, the photo that the author designed for the improvements section was blurry, which was unfortunate because I thought that your ideas were great, but the visual aid was lacking. Next time it would be good to make sure that all fonts work and all photos have a high enough resolution.

I like the layout of the website as a whole, and having your name thingy is a nice touch at the bottom of each page. Some parts could have been formatted a bit better, like paying attention to uniform picture sizes or formatting the text to be blocked well, but these are adjustments that will probably come from getting more familiar with html/css. Something weird is also going on with the links that jump to different pages on my computer, as they don't really seem to be buttons (like the hand cursor doesn't show up, but instead the text editor cursor), but that's just a minor detail.
