I think your choice of a purchased ball is great. Excellent. One small recommendation: make it easy to swap out! It seems possible that eventually a ball would pop.

The force sensor seems like it would work nicely.

I was impressed at how responsive it was - how just a small press triggered the force pad. They're like giant arcade buttons - and that's awesome. Good job!

I think the next challenge will be to find a way to robustly design the two together. How does the sensor permanently mount to the yoga ball? How does this mount to a wall, or what-have-you? How is it serviceable if the sensor breaks?

It seems like you were able to explore whether or not the bosu ball can be used as a beer belly. Though, I think one of main challenges (though, could be addressed by someone else on your team) is whether or not they're fat enough to push off of depending on your height.

Making use of Bosu ball to have a bouncy semi-sphere for the physical aspect of the beer belly bounce challenge is perfectly well thought. Bosu balls are already in semi-spherical shape which has a bouncy semi-spherical side and a flat relatively hard side. Using force or pressure pads to detect whether the user has bounced off the bellies is a good idea.

Just one comment:

(1)Think about putting additional force sensors or the pressure pads in behind the flat part of the Bosu ball as well (not just the side supports because the users of different weight and size might bounce off from different locations on the Bosu ball. Hence, it is necessary to have uniform distribution of the force sensors or pressure pads to ensure that the electronics would activate the circuit easily and uniformly.

It shows reasonable decision process as it shows the comparison between force sensors, accelerator sensors, etc. The final work also gets easy both in mechanism and fact. The idea to connect the sensor to audio circuit is also great.

I suspect how sensitive it is and to what level of force it can work.
