The choice of springs is a curious choice. Does this mean if too many people or heavy set people go on it, the stabilizer just sinks? What if it is a group of children, is there a problem?

Drawing out the full room was a useful way to get a sense of the size of this object and the amount of space necessary for the tilting platform.

The exploration of the design style of the room is really great, and choosing kind of a classic spaceship style is easily recognizable.

One thing to consider in the future is that the cross section of the platform with the springs probably isn't necessary for a looks like, since it has to do more with how the platform works than what it looks like.

Size is tricky so I think its a good idea to mock that up. One consideration was that your storyboard shows a circular ship of some sort, but sketch model is rectangular. Perhaps give some thought to that.

The sketch was easy to understand and clear. The underneath of the stabilizer should probably have been in the works like section (not the looks like section).

Great job explaining the look & feel of your design, and what the stabilizer might look like in a room. It doesn't need any explanation, even if you just showed people that model - I can bet they'd guess what the point of the game was.

(Also, the handlebars to the platform are a nice touch.)

The decorations were interesting and showed a very colorful, bright, retro spaceship. I would have liked to have seen different potential decoration themes (one like a derelict abandoned ship, one more akin to ISS interior, etc) even if just on little 'swatches' of wall. Having a human for scale would have been excellent.

The looks like does a good job of conveying the design style of a spaceship. However, there are a lot of things in the room other than the platform, which might lead teams to get distracted and try to find clues in other places.

I'm also not sure what the silver circles around the platform are supposed to be. If I were trying to solve this room, I would think that a person is supposed to stand on each of them, but the people are supposed to stand on the platform itself.

Your team did a great job mocking up some of the details of the room. It definitely has a Star Trek kind of feel. The cutaway of the stabilizer is a nice way of depicting the inner workings. Lots of detail and effort went into this! One thing you may have wanted to include were miniature players too. Scale is always with respect to people size, so if that was the main area of concern you could include it.
