She would also attack the Royal crib. "What good are you? You cannot even calm the Princess. She has been crying so long and so hard that I can hardly be impressive and beautiful when people come to greet me.
Noise fills the castle. The little Princess' cries are the first thing anyone hear in the morning and it is the last thing, we hear when we go to sleep at night. At meals, people have to shout "How delicious the food is" and "Could you please pass the jelly?" I mean the noise is so bad that the Royal musicians would plan the cries into their music so that it still sounds good. (And it does sound good. People sometimes forget and think that the cries come from some new instrument.) *
Why don't you do your job and save us from this misery?"The Royal crib took offense at this. It was not her fault that the Princess had been crying. She had been trying her best for a long time to keep the little baby happy but she just couldn't. She didn't think anyone could. So when Veronica teased the Royal crib, t he Royal crib simply replied, "Someday you will come off your high horse. Someday you will see that it is nice to make friends. You are not so much better than everybody else. You will learn that someday..."
"Ha. What need to have for the likes of you? People come here to see me. I am special," Veronica said.
