If you're not too comfortable with Hiragana or Katakana, you're advised to spend enough time now to review them well.

We will have Oral Interview Test #1 on Wednesday, 10/26.  Review all the materials from Lesson 1 through Lesson 3. 

• The Oral Interview, which lasts about 5 minutes, is similar to the ACT class activities. The teacher will set a conversational context, and you're expected to respond appropriately.
• You may not use any English at all in the interview.
• The focus in the interview is on the production of accurate, appropriate, natural Japanese speech for your level.
• You are only expected to know what we have covered up to now (through Lesson 3); practice with the CD; review not only the CCs & Drills but also the AE & Utilization.
• The oral interview is an opportunity for you to demonstrate what you can do with the language all based on the course materials.
