Lyn, Therapy 1974: Lyn says Janet, a multimedia artist, is making a docu-diary of their relationship. Lyn is asked by her to sit, for reasons unknown to her, veiled, in a room reading the Harvard Classics. Janet's daughter Agnus then brought in a candle that immolated Lyn's veil, and Agnus frets that she had ruined her mother's performance. Marge, now dating Daniel, said she loved the scene, while Lyn wondered why no one helped her put the fire out. Fire trucks arrived. Janet videotapes everything, including their breakup.
