You are awakened by a feeling of intense heat. The pond is gone, apparently drained into a large crack in the ground. Everything, including yourself, is covered in a thin layer of ash. The ground shakes periodically, and you hear a bubbling noise coming from the direction of the trail.
You quickly change back into your clothes and prepare to set off.
