For 1a pset #6, are we supposed to assume the effective field is the same for all positions i? Or is it a position-dependent effective field.

Is the hamiltonian in questions 1 and 2 of problem set #6 supposed to have sums over just neighbors (<i,j>) or sums over all bonds regardless of distance (i<j)?

In problem 4 equation (1) of Pset 5, should the second term be proportional to K^2? It seems like this would be necessary for the equations to give hyperbolae in the RG flow diagram, but maybe it's supposed to have a different behavior.

Are grades for PSET 4 available on the grades page? The announcement states that they are published, but I cannot see them.

For finding the divergence of the correlation length as $T\to 0$, on what basis did we set the T(\ell^*)\sim 1 in one problem and $K(\ell^*)\sim 0?

Response: For consistency, it would have indeed been better for me to set T(\ell^*)\to\infty. The point is that this would not have changed the functional form of the dependence on T, but would merely change an overall amplitude for the correlation length. The reluctance to have done stems from noting that the RG equation used is itself a low temperature expansion, and should not be accurate when T becomes of the order of one and larger. Of course, this is also true for the RG relation expressed in terms of K\sim 1/T.

Does open book mean we can access the book/lecture notes on our laptop? Or should we print them out?

In pset2 problem 1d), is the factor of e in front of the gradient of phi a typo?

Response: Yes, it is. Now crossed out in PS#2.
