Someone mentioned that
"La liberte semble etre davantage convoitee
comme un bien personnel et ideal chez les francais contre une
notion
plus sociale chez les americains." Why is that so? The french
have interesting responses like "oiseau, utopie, d'autrui,
se balader". Is there are reason why the word freedom brings
these images to you? Also a student mentioned Algeria.
How does that relate to freedom?
