Solution to Keyboard Cat

by Reid Barton, Cat Miller, and Aaron Dinkin

Play the typing game! The game gives you a series of words to type. Each given word is misspelled in exactly one letter; you have to type the correct spelling of the word, ignoring the given error. If you type all of the words in one level of the game before time runs out, you move on to the next level; otherwise, you repeat the level.

The words you have to type are listed below, with the corrected letter highlighted (i.e., the letter that is replaced with an incorrect letter that you have to ignore):

The corrected letters alone are the following, grouped by level:

SERFCXS BHUIKJHJM VGYHNHG ZSEDCFT IUHNMKJ TRESDSZXC BHUIKJH OIUHJHBNM YTRDFDXCV ESZXC

This doesn't spell out anything in particular. However, you can treat each of these groups of letters as tracing out a path on a QWERTY keyboard. For instance, SERFCXS traces out an O-shape on the left side of the QWERTY layout. Tracing out all the corrected letter groups in this way forms the shapes of the letters ORANGE PEEL, which is the answer to the puzzle.
