This puzzle is a drop quote made of movie quotes that were altered when broadcast on TV.

The drop quote columns are full of asterisks. In an act of double censorship, the altered words are themselves deleted from the drop quote and replaced by asterisks. The check on the altered words is the thinner grid to the right, where you fill in the altered words and phrases in alphabetical order by the movie title (skipping "the" of course).

This second grid, on the other hand, has too many letters to fill it. The remaining letters can form three rows that spell FOUR LETTER WORD AFTER MINCED, and the answer to that that follows the theme of this puzzle is OATH.
