Diagramless Crossmusic (Solution)

(This puzzle was originally called Dissonant Counterpoint. It was renamed during the hunt in order to make it more approachable.)

Each of the 263 sound clips provided features two songs played simultaneously. The number of clips associated with each song is equal to the number of letters in the song’s name; when arranged in the correct order the clips will produce a continuous, unbroken portion of the song. The clips may be arranged in a grid such that some songs can be “read” across, some “read” downwards. In certain cases, the letters in song names will be aligned: taking all of these and reading left to right, top to bottom will generate the answer.

Note: It is possible to switch the “across” and “down” songs since no initial grid is provided. In that case, the answer is read from the matching letters from top to bottom, left to right.
