Andrés F. Salazar-Gómez

Research Scientist

I am a research scientist at MIT working at the intersection of neuroscience, education, AI and policy. I explore innovative pedagogical and technological approaches to support learning, focused on sound evidence-based pedagogy and AI literacy across K–12, higher education, and professional training. I also study implicit learning and how to transfer expertise via AI-powered AR, and specially how durable skills (human/wrongly called ”soft”) can be sustained and improved in this era of AI. I advocate for intelligent data-driven strategies to improve educational and expand access to quality education for everyone, everywhere.
