NanoPrecision Deposition Laboratory: Installation of the GEN200 MBE commenced in Aug. 2005 and basically finished in Sept. 2005. The Sb-based reactor was loaded in Oct. 2004 while the As,P-based reactor was loaded in Jan 2005.

The research group moved from the third floor of Building 13 to the office suite on the second floor of Building 36 during late summer and early autumn of 2004.

Sheila Tandon received the 2004 "For Women in Science" Fellowship from L’Oreal.

Dr. Gale Petrich received the Infinite Mile Award from MIT.

Construction of the NanoPrecision Deposition Laboratory on the first floor of Bldg 38 commenced in October 2003. Certificate of Occupancy was granted in June 2004.

The Gas Source MBE Laboratory in Bldg 13-3055 was de-commissioned and disassembled between April 2004 and July 2004. The Riber MBE system was moved to our Bldg 36 laboratory after some remodeling. The II-VI MBE was disassembled. Some II_VI MBE parts were saved for future use with the Riber MBE system. The II-VI MBE chamber and Cluster chamber went to System Integration Inc for future use. The introduction chamber and analysis chamber were kept for future use.
