Integrated Photonic Devices and Materials Group

 Sue Young was a member of Prof. Kolodziejski's research group from 2004 to 2006 earning a Master in Engineering degree in 2006 from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She conducted research in the characterization of InGaAs/GaAs tunnel junctions, the characterization of bipolar cascade lasers and the characterization of InAsP and InAs quantum dash and quantum dot lasers resulting in a M.Eng. thesis titled "Characterization of Novel III-V Semiconductor Devices". She is currently employed by IBM Global Services.
