| Use this page when you are ready to select one or more investigators for the proposal. Upper section -- investigator Select an investigator.
% Effort. Investigator's average % effort for the lifetime of the proposal. Entry is required by some sponsors. Lower section -- investigator's unit After you select an investigator, information for the unit appears. If the proposal has more than one investigator, unit information for the highlighted name appears. Before submitting the proposal, use the checkbox Lead to select a lead unit. Change default home unit for an investigator -- or add an additional home unit Highlight the investigator and enter the desired unit number in the Number field. You can leave more than one unit for an investigator or delete those unit associations that do not apply for the proposal. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Access the Proposal Abstracts window by selecting Abstracts on the Edit menu, or use the toolbar button. The Proposal Abstracts window contains tab pages for entering and storing additional proposal components -- technical and non-technical abstracts, a project summary, lab data, and a bibliography. An extra tab page, called Other, can be used to store any type of proposal information. The type of abstract, lab data, or bibliography required for a proposal is determined by the sponsor. When you enter text in one of these tab pages, use carriage returns only to separate paragraphs. Coeus will format text for printing in standard page width. You can also cut and paste text from other applications into Coeus, where it will be in text-only format. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
