    CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    August 27, 1998

    Griffith Place Films announces inception of HOLLYWOOD SHORTS

    The Griffith Place Film division announces a call for submissions for the
    Fall
    quarter of HOLLYWOOD SHORTS, a monthly short film series that features new
    shorts & their directors to the Hollywood film community. Three shorts will
    be featured per month, and the next screening will be held on October 11 in
    Los Angeles.

    SPONSORS: AVID, 3Point Digital, The Joint

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

    Film must be no longer that 40 minutes.

    Original film can be filmed in any format, and will be grouped in the
    following genres: drama, comedy, animation, documentary

    Film must be submitted on VHS tape before September 15th for consideration
    for
    the October screening; all films received after 9/15 will be evaluated for
    later screenings.

    Dates being selected: October 11, November 15, & December 13, 1998

    Enclose personal resume, one page outline of the movie, production stills
    and
    $5.00 processing fee.

    Tapes will not be returned.

    Directors will be notified of acceptance into the November & December
    screenings at least three weeks before their screening date in order to
    arrange travel plans if residing outside of the L.A. area, as each director
    selected will have the opportunity to hold a brief Q&A period after film's
    screening.
