    Subject: A favour

I am a documentary producer in the US and am putting together a proposal
on local festivals around the world. What we are looking for is fun local
celebrations that have retained a sense of cultural significace. i.e not
the huge, internationally renowned events like Madi Gras, or Easter in Spain.

I wondered if you had any suggestions from your part of the
world? The festivals need to be dramatic (for TV), not too well known
    internationaly, and culturally intriguing.

More specifically, could you recommend a good cross-dressing ritual? I
think the Yoruba have one as part of a rite of passage--do you know it's
name by any chance. Random questions, from a random associate hoping you
    can help..

    Thanks,

    Neil Barrett
