Promotion

At this point, the game evaluates the detective to determine whether or not the detective is worthy of promotion. Promotion is based on the number of cases solved. If the player has solved only a few, each solved cases brings the detective significantly closer to a promotion. As the detective's rank increases, more cases must be solved in order to move up to the next level.
