The girl turns in the dim room as her mother releases her. She suddenly decides to be very interested the curved, carved wooden wall and goes to touch it. Her mother says: "Don't touch." The girl nods, and squeaks the thin rubber sole of her shoe on the parquet floor as she walks through the opening into the darkness beyond.
