The summer went quick. We saw more free outdoor concerts than the MDC probably even knew about. Every show we were there behind our table, offering "literature" to whoever came over to us, trying to get them to register. We also got to meet the talent--mostly seventies rockers and jazz bands.

The polls were coming back quite well, considering. I was up to 15%, and Cimanello was down to 55%. They didn't tell us who got the other 30. But it was encouraging, especially since the polls were of registered voters, and it was still before reg day at most schools. There was still a battle waiting to be fought, because I had sent for my reserves.
