Paper based Soil Nutrients Diagnostics

Motivation and Goals

Rural Indian farmers suffer from ”information poverty” in terms of having the resources to attain actionable information about their soil chemistry. Working under the TATA center for Technology and Design, my graduate student advisor Ron Rosenberg and I thus propose a paper based soil diagnostic device able to detect the concentration of nitrates, phosphates, pH, potassium ions critical to soil health.
