These fluctuations are speculated to occur as a result of particles which orbit about the black hole and radiate strongly in the X-ray region. This paper finds and presents the majority of methodologies which may be used to model a simplified case of this radiating matter with the final goal being to determine the incoming direction and energy of photons emitted by the radiating matter as seen by an observer on Earth.
