Jessica Slind, M.S., 2000-2003,
2005
B.S. in Genetics at the Univ. of Wisconsin, 2000
Jes helped with
our initial lab setup after moving with me to MIT from the Univ. of Wisconsin,
where she was an undergraduate research assistant for 2 years with me during my
post-doc in Barry Ganetzky's lab. Jes has been instrumental in providing
support for many of the projects in the lab, including characterization of the
synaptotagmin family and the identification and cloning of temperature-sensitive
paralytic mutants in Drosophila. Jes is now enrolled in a Ph.D.
program at the Univ. of Minnesota, although we managed to pull her away for
another summer of work in the lab in 2005. |
