Parking:

Parking in Cambridge is not easy and the observatory itself has a limited number of parking spots. Since both recommended hotels and many of the listed B&B places are within walking distance we encourage participants not to drive to the conference location. Otherwise please follow these instructions to get a parking permit:

1. 1.Visit the web page http://www2.uos.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/permit/purchase.pl
   

2. 2.At the bottom of the page click “Visitor”
   

3. 3.As a visitor you must register (unless you have used the system before). To register for the first time, click on “Click here to Register”. Fill out log-in information and your personal profile. Otherwise, enter your username and password.
   

4. 4.At the bottom of the page click “Visitor”, select “Observatory” as your department and enter the code 2018
   

5. 5.Follow the directions on the screen.
   

Prices: $11/$5   weekday/weeknight

Alternatively, upon your arrival to 60 Garden St. you can walk into the Harvard College Observatory Administrative office, located within the conference building (office B-115), and purchase a daily permit in person (note: cash only payments!).
