Disseminating Information

Information regarding the Consortium will be available in the following:

Web Site: The primary method for disseminating program information will be a Web-based interface to the program database. Program participants will have access to the entire database, and the public will have access to the subset of information that has been publicly disclosed.

Annual Progress Report: The Principal Investigator will submit an overall annual progress report to NIGMS. (The progress report for Year 1 was submitted in July 2002.) Most of the report will be intended for public dissemination and will be posted on the public Web site. The full report will also contain confidential evaluations and recommendations from the Steering Committee and Advisory Committee, which will be intended only for Participating Investigators, Directors of the Cores, and NIGMS program officials.

Journal Publications: The Steering Committee strongly encourages the publication and public disclosure of program information.
