Different base for values: CO data is always cost based. FM on an accrual base is almost the same, but not totally (CO is based on GR, FM normally on IR)
As CO offers after the fact allocations, availability control for those integration postings does not make sense and is not carried out
While activity based costing relies on process based data, allocations are based on summary information. Line item data from postings is never read
