Timeline for printing:
Your poster must be submitted for printing to the vendor by March 17, 2006.

Ambit Press:
We have chosen them because of their good service and reasonable cost. For a 4x4 foot poster on a glossy paper stock, the printing fee should be $80, $5 per square foot. Posters submitted to Ambit after March 20, 2006 may incur additional charges from Ambit Press. Ambit is located in Kendall Square, on Main Street between the MIT Coop and Legals. Ambit's designated contact is Dan Wilcox at 617-876-3688. Please mention the HST Student Poster Session when referring to your order to ensure you get this pricing. Ambit accepts MIT Purchase orders, credit cards, and cash. Their SAP vendor number is 104878.

MIT's Copy Technology Center:

Copytech's main office is located in the basement of building 11, room 004. Copy Tech can only print posters as large as 42" in width, and their cost is $7 per square foot. Copytech's designated contact is either Don Choate (258-7794) or Scott Perrigo (452-3575). Copy Tech accepts MIT account numbers, credit cards, cash, and techcash as payment.

Printing and formatting your poster:

• From MS Office programs please submit the native application file for printing plus a PDF file for production proofing purposes.
• From Adobe applications and Quark Xpress please submit a PDF made by the application specific instructions indicated on our file submission guidelines sheet.

Please read the file submission guidelines carefully as you may be charged for changes that need to be made to your file. Faxing or dropping off a hard copy to Ambit Press or Copytech is recommended to aid in the production proofing process.
