A magnet is suspended below a ring with zero resistance. This is only possible for a limited range of the parameters of the problem (e.g., the dipole moment of the magnet, mass of the magnet, etc.--see the pdf document referenced above). The magnet is suspended below the ring because it is held up by the tension in the magnetic field lines.
