Musée des Arts Décoratifs

This museum houses furniture and other household items from France and elsewhere.  We saw a lot of beautiful bureaus, desks and armoires here and some dishware as well.  Many of the older large mirrors had very ornate frames: since mirrors were so rare, they were given the same decoration as works of art.  There were also a lot of chairs in the museum.  One exhibit had many chairs arranged in rows, showing evolution of chair styles over time.
