The
Charles River
Light and Color * Life on the River * Living History
My photo essay looks at a day on the Charles River through three different lenses. The sequences include some photographs multiple times because they reveal mutiple facets of the river. Looking at photographs in different contexts challenges us to notice new elements or themes. Some photographs have captions, while other pages contain only the photograph so that the viewer can form his or her own impression of what the photograph tells about the river.
