Mount Auburn Cemetery, also know as "Silent City on a Hill" is anything but silent. Filled with a rich dialog between the living and the dead, birds and bird watchers, grounds and groundskeepers, visitors of the cemetery and its residents—voices that are part of this dialog can be seen and heard throughout the landscape.

This photo-essay is a brief exploration and small sampling of images that give voice to the dialog that is present throughout the cemetery.
