Fuse fans - any everyone else, for that matter - will certainly enjoy this book, particularly the beautiful color photos at the beginning showing sample color and paper combinations. Far from being simply another origami box book, this new title includes letterfolds and cards, vases and chopstick rests, and stars and snowflakes in addition to some nice boxes and variations.

The diagrams are, as always, well drawn and accurate.

Note: this book was published simultaneously in Japan and the US. The US title is "Home Decorating with Origami", ISBN 4880060597. Below is the table of contents from the Japanese version, which appears to be the same length and size as the English version, and therefore probably has identical content. I have not compared it to an English copy, so I cannot guarantee that the contents are completely the same, however.

HANA ("flower")a square-bottomed bowl shape with fan-like pleated sides; graduated sized ones may be nested for a beautiful effect
"balalaika"this produces a pleated shape that, I think, looks somewhat like the neck of a stringed instrument (hence the name.) There is a variation which produces a pleated mountain-shape, as well.
