Selected topics in Austronesian syntax, approached through the analysis of specific languages (e.g. Chamorro, Indonesian, Malagasy, Maori, Tagalog). Topics to be covered include: word order and clause structure, interrogation and focus, existentials and possession, the syntax and semantics of DP.
