Sabine Iatridou is Professor of Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy of MIT, from where she also received her PhD in 1991. Her research areas are syntax and semantics. Recent publications include "The Grammatical Ingredients of Counterfactuality" in Linguistic Inquiry 31.2 (2000), "Some Observations about the Form and Meaning of the Perfect" in Ken Hale: A Life in Language, M. Kenstowicz ed. MIT Press (2002) and "Epistemic Containment" in Linguistic Inquiry 34.2 (with Kai von Fintel) (2003)

Sabine Iatridou is the Director of the 2005 LSA Institute.

Although not teaching a class, she is happily available for impromptu conversations and appointments on any linguistic topic.
