Stuart Shieber is Professor of Computer Science in the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. From 1981 to 1989, he was a computer scientist in the Artificial Intelligence Center at SRI International and a research fellow at the Center for the Study of Language and Information at Stanford University, and received his Ph.D. in computer science in 1989 from Stanford University. Research interests include both theoretical and applied computational linguistics, as well as human-computer interaction, especially collaborative interfaces with computer systems.
