Thomas Wasow is Professor of Linguistics and Philosophy at Stanford University and received his Ph.D. in Linguistics from MIT in 1972. His research interests include English syntax, psycholinguistics, and philosophy of linguistics. Some recent publications are (with Barbara Lohse and John Hawkins) “Domain Minimization in English Verb-Particle Constructions,” in Language; (with Ivan A. Sag and Emily Bender) Syntactic Theory: A Formal Introduction (CSLI); and Postverbal Behavior (CSLI).
