Dear Cousin Sol, 

I take the fortunate opportunity in my name and also in the name
of my sister to send heartfelt good wishes for the New Year.  We
wish all of you a happy, healthy new year, long life along with
great wealth; in a word, may you be inscribed and sealed for a
good year!!!  for the New Year, 5694!!!

At the same time, I inform my dear cousin that in an earlier
month, i.e., July, I became a Bar Mitzvah in good fortune.  I
have begun to lay phylacteries.

Well, nothing more of importance to relate.  In school, I am
entering the seventh grade.  It's said in the family that I am a
fine lad.  I am not a bad student.  I myself don't know whether
I am a good or a bad student...time will tell all.
