I think I'd be one of those very rare and expensive specialty foods you pick up at Safeway's in a weak moment, then store in the back of the larder because you don't quite fancy them today, or don't have the right accompaniment. And there I'd lodge, permanently. Over the years my can would go soft and flaky and, inside, I'd go dark and moulder and fester and mutate genetically and otherwise until one glorious day the seam would split, I'd ooze out over the shelf, absorbing nutrients on the way, down to the next shelf and then out to DOMINATE THE WORLD, CONSUMING ALL IN MY PATH.
