Okay--I'm behind again, short on time, and rushing, so...

Take this sentence:

   "One, seven, three..." he said, and died.

Write about it.  Who is he?  Why and how did he die?  What does this
cryptic message mean (if anything)?

You probably want at least two characters (besides the corpus
delecti).  What is their relationship to the deceased?  To each other?
To whatever is behind those cryptic numbers?

And the keys are flying, the notions trying, the synapses popping!
