The moral of the story?

Remember, no one is a failure who has friends.

you may invoke ghosts of christmas past, present, and future.

you may use angels, alternative histories, and other flavors.

you may even walk softly through ordinary life, showing us an
evening at home or out in the alleys and byways of our lives.

just remind us of friendship.
